Finally finished the second collection of manga mouths @_o
I started this page in 2008, but I only got around to finish it now.
Different styles of manga mouths referenced from various series: Black Lagoon (Rei Hiroe), DOGS (Miwa Shirow), Samurai Champloo, Banya The Explosive Delivery Man ... and a few more I can't remember.

It was done for reference purposes and practicing manga style. Bonus the chibi Lavi at the bottom :XD:

hi, this is really really helpful because i never know what mouth to use, i know other people have asked already, but may i use them as reference please? oh, and what lead did you use in your mechanical pencil? (sorry if im not making myself clear, i mean like, hb, or 2b, or 3b, u get the general idea, lol.)

Yes, you may use them =P

For my mechanical pencil, I use HB lead, for sketching. But if I want darker lines and such, I use 2B lead (used mainly if you want a more refined, almost ink-like touch). Although, I wouldn't recommend the 2B lead for sketching, because it's much more smudgy and leaves dark lines, which are also harder to erase.

i used to use hb for sketching too, but my art teacher told me 2b was better - she lies! lol. ill put my hb back in, then ill buy another mechanical pencil to put a 2b in. thanks for the help!
